The Lion King Legacy Collection

How many people ordered this? I’ve been told it’s available at Wal*mart for under $15. Also, how many threads do you guys predict will be started tomorrow / in the coming days when people receive their copies tomorrow? Will it break the Man of Steel record?

I’ve never started a general discussion before, but I’m hoping that maybe all the info regarding this release we can keep all in 1 thread? There’s no doubt going to be some good discussion regarding different cues, film mixes, demos, etc. Let’s see if this will survive…

I’ve ordered this through the Amazon US Store (though it’s just become available on Amazon UK at roughly �22). I expect my copy by July 7.

I’ll be grabbing this from Walmart early in the morning, before I get to work. It’s gonna make my day extremely slow, but worth it.

Mine’s just shipped and it’ll be here a whole week earlier than they originally billed (next Wednesday as opposed to two weeks time) 😀 Amazon US has the same habit of overestimating their delivery times as the UK store. They must want to be known as miracle-workers :p

Even if it’s first class, I’m in the UK so it’ll take that long to get here. A week’s just about right: I’ve ordered direct from Varese and LaLaLand before and it tallies up with their service.

Ah. Three weeks is a bit odd. I live in the UK and I’m getting mine next week, though I chose to expidite the delivery slightly. All in all, it’ll cost me �14.61 (not including the non-sterling transaction fee) so it works out cheaper than getting it from the UK store. (Rough translation from $24.86 to € would be €18.25)

I won’t get everything but I’m definitely eyeing up Toy Story and Fantasia (though I already have Fantasia, the last issue is terribly mixed)

Unfortunately at present the whole collection is just too much money so I’m focusing on the ones I want the most. I’m sure there was one more I wanted as well but I can’t remember which one. I’ll probably wind up completing the collection at a later date.

Oh, if we go into sequelland there’s a whole load of sequels I’d like to see releases for: The Lion King II, Bambi 2, 101 Dalmations 2…

The Jungle Book would be nice. Lilo & Stitch, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo, Monster’s Inc., Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Fox and the Hound, Bambi, 101 Dalmatians, The Incredibles, Tarzan, Hercules, Dumbo, etc..basically any Disney movie would be a nice edition! 😉

Im just now listening to it. 😛 I ripped it first so I could get it up quickly!

I will say that the insert for "We Are All Connected" that’s been missing from the official release and the leaked sessions…is in there! Although, the overall mix is slightly different than what I’m use to hearing in the sessions.
