Batman and Robin is available as a 2-CD bootleg but the audio quality is terrible.
The listing for Batman 1989 is almost accurate, in that disc 1 is the film score, disc 2 is the original album remastered, but disc 2 also has some alternate cues not on the original album.
I made some editorial revisions to improve "Main Title", "Joker Files To Gotham / Batwing", and "Batwing II/III" a while back.
EDIT:
Here they are: Disc 1 revised cues (https://mega.co.nz/#!EgcQ2QAa!seqbmqxZ9XvAvlV-VvJ2jfGp4BQc6EkBoYI2_M9ZzGQ)
Also, here are the remaining disc 2 cues from the LLL release after the remastered original album program:

Isn’t it beautiful!
Ain’t those Lossless Files Transcodes from mp3’s
And the Spectrum just makes me you know what ? 🙂

I have a couple of cues from Batman 1989 that you could use if you like, they’re edited to sound more impressive than what was on the LLL release.

What was wrong with Lalalands version….. haven’t listened to it in ages….. sound quality was a bit shitty….. not as bad as the abomination that was Superman Returns
When I’m done with B&R Expanded, listen and you tell me. Also, it’s the only real Expanded Soundtrack that I’m aware of.

Thanks laohu, I’m not finished yet, still under construction.
Thanks to you,Sir, for offering such high quality codecs to the forum. I’ve never seen any of these movies and am downloading the original Batman as I post this.
Bravo
Nope,no love. I’m mostly into the 1950’s and 1960′ movie soundtracks, and some 1970’s scores by the maestros Bernstein,Goldsmith and Mancini.
I’ll give this original Elfman score a shot to see if if makes it to archive on my flash drive.
Because there aren’t enough existing threads for those scores….;)
Are you saying you’ve never heard Elfman’s Batman?
Because there aren’t enough existing threads for those scores….;)
Batman is Batman, this is a Batman thread. But I suppose there are enough threads.
The main title was heavily clipped, the "Joker Flies to Gotham" cue was missing the ending (which was on the Elfman/Burton box version) and "Batwing" had some very distinct brass in the film mix that was not audible on the LLL version.
The last time I visited a movie theater was in 1977 to see Star Wars, and last watched network TV in 1979. Other than a national or world crisis or tragedy, the TV set doesn’t get turned on and I refuse to watch commercial TV,and don’t have anything but basis cable TV, either. I have about a 1000 VHS and DVD’s of classic movies that garner my attention.
Sorry about rambling off topic.
I’m 52, not that old, but I know where you’re coming from. I’ve got the "The Dark Knight" thread if you want to check those out. Let me know if the Soundtracks links are not working and I’ll re-upload them.
I am confused. In order for you to remaster the score, don’t you have to get the original studio masters first?
I got curious and decided to give it a listen, but unfortunately I can’t open the files. What format are they as it doesn’t identify them on my pc?
from 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/)
It’s free
The file names are encrypted too, so you may have to enter the PW twice
No problem, that’s why I put them up.
According to LLL they can’t release the album due to the politics involved. Plus, Goldenthal himself has been denied multiple times by Warner Bros. to release the score through his own label. My guess is that if B&R ever sees the light of day, it will be through WB. Lets hope I’m wrong.
no offense but it still sounds exactly the same as the previous files even though you did your best. And that sucks about the La La Land situation.
The politics are specifically this:
"Batman & Robin" never had an actual score-only album release when the film came out in 1997. All previous Batman movies did.
With no pre-existing score album to expand, for reasons unknown (those politics, most likely musicians union re-use fees and whatnot) this prohibits the score from receiving the same treatment as the other scores.
Batman had two albums, the score and the Prince album. Batman Returns had one album, score-only with one added song. Batman Forever had two albums, the score and the Various Artists compilation. Batman & Robin had one album, a various artists compilation shown in this very thread.
Not so fast….some sources are simply not of the same high frequency / resolution. Even older CDs will have a cut-off, not because they were from ‘lossy’ sources (such as a score from the 1980s or prior) but because they may not have been recorded with the best equipment or at the highest possible quality to begin with.
This issue came up with me recently when I was asked about "An American Tail", which I did a slight remaster of. I used my original CD which was pressed in 1986 and it had a cut-off at 20kHz. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think mp3s or other lossy formats were the norm for recording and pressing to disc, LP and cassette tape in the 80s.

If that is so, but strangely as I comment out the cd by danny elfman batman batman returns 1989 and 1992 (warner bros record) which came back flac and analize with spek and mark both the highest frequency 22khz, but these remasters of lalalandrecord q rose in flac pass them spek and frequency levels are low reach 20khz so strange to me is if they are remastered and come from an original source because there is such a difference in frequencies, for a moment I believed these q were expanded flac mp3 but I can confirm that spectre8750 are rips of the original which is true, apparently did lalalandrecord detailed work in this
In fact, when I did my ‘remaster’ of "An American Tail", by adding a simple high-pass filter to the original recording the frequency band went above the original cut-off. It wasn’t very strong, but it was a change that could be seen in the spectrum.
It could also be that the complete score was not from the masters used to make an album, but a film mix or something in Dolby Digital ac3 (Batman Returns was the first Dolby Digital-presented film, while DTS would follow the next year with Jurassic Park) again we have no way of knowing unless someone asks about the details, and who knows if they would be willing to answer.
Cuts does lalaland records? or just when the original cd rip to flac format?…all flac files you share (89 batman expanded, returns and forever) you’ve made from your original ripping cds?
———- Post added at 12:28 AM ———- Previous post was at 12:23 AM ———-
I can’t explain the discrepancy either, I just know that in some cases a lack of a particular frequency does not mean a lossy source.

I already understood many seriously thanks for answering my question =) … in final conclusion so interested to know is whether these batman expanded (89 returns, forever) were ripped directly from the original cds or just were downloaded to other = )
=) That means that you yourself do not know if they really are from a rip of the original cds, q are the same just run all over the net … good point that I wanted to get wanted to know if you had these original cds and you flac rip to the same, thanks for your patience and for answering my questions =) … many thanks

Well you don’t remaster this score, you RESTORED the score. It’s different
But here, you restore the sound from an album.
What are you guys using to extract these? I am on a mac.
I used 7zip to zip these. it’s free. 7-Zip (http://www.7zip.org)
Hey Geof
Yes the source was lossy.
poetofpiano
Put all files in one directory with the names they came with originally and open the first file with 7z. They are all part of a single archive.
I checked my source files and they are Lossless.
My hard drive was also recently crashed. 。゚(Д`)゚。 I have some backup data files of it, but that’s not all … So I’m gathering the lost data from the beginning again. (-д-)=З Anyway, I will try to find them too ! I sincerely thank you for your polite and thorough response. ( ^-^)/
Well, Does anyone have them ??? 「・_・ )(「・_・)
