I’d like to ask for that too, since I believe Deathshead Compound (last chapter) isn’t in the official OST.
is there anyone here willing to loop and fade it ?
if so i’ll upload it for you
the first link is OGG vorbis, i found it elsewhere on this site,
some people seem to be having trouble with these files (myself included), so i included the second link which contains the same files but converted to mp3 192 cbr

the files are unnamed, unlooped, and unfaded, so if someone would like to take care of that it would be greatly appreciated otherwise, enjoy

Well from what I could listen, some tracks are fragmented in the several files you brought up there. For instance, Deathhead’s Compund, last chapter is fragmented into tracks number 221 up to 225. I’m not sure if the other tracks follow that pattern since I do not remember them all. Still if all it likes is not looping but just joining them together, can be done, although this track in particular would as a real big track.
On this case track 225 sounds pretty similar to the rest of the track, but I’m not entirely sure where it would fit, or if it plays in an entirely different segment but as part of the same stage. I’d have to play the stage again to know. From what I could listen several of the pieces you extracted there sound similar to others so I bet you can make the tracks by joining the pieces together.
all I did was convert them to mp3
all I did was convert them to mp3I see. Point remains pretty much the same regardless.
I’d do it myself but i just don’t have the TIME. oh well

Also and as I’ve stated, some pieces there sound similar to others, but taking into account that Deathshead’s compount is a remix of the main track, when you join the pieces you may be mixing two different tracks, if you just go at the fact they sound similar. This needs ingame comparison by all means.
I noticed that. Though some parts some different to others if you listen well enough, suggesting a continuation. Still I guess that you gotta compare and trial and error.
it may just be a variation or a version 2 that should be looped and faded like any other

There is also that possibility indeed. Which is why you gotta replay the game to tell.
i hope so
all i did was convert them to a more accessible format and then spread the word to the people here on this thread XD
I’m working on this as we speak, but it’s a process to say the least. More reverse mixing than you would think involved here, which to put it in the eloquent words of my brother: "Reverse mixing is AIDs". It’s just a real pain in the ass. Also, VladlenCry’s gamerip is just music from the gameplay segments of TNO and not any of the cutscenes. I’m currently downloading all of the source material I can find on my quest, but it’ll be AT LEAST a week, more like a month before I’m done. And I’ll never truly be finished until I can figure out how to get the music from the cutscenes (a few of the cutscene tracks are on the retail release, but far from all).
RadeonX1950 said something about having the full album, but never uploaded it… I would love if he could share it and save me this shit load of work.

but by all means more rips never hurt
as for the cutscene audio
try dragon unpacker on the video files

I downloaded OrangeC’s share in order to get source material and it’s the exact same thing as Vladlen’s: a gamerip. What I’ve been doing is playing through the game to hear the music and then combining the ripped files to make them as accurate to the music from the game as possible. In essence, I’m recreating the soundtrack from the various ripped segments to create the Complete Score.
As an example, Deathshead’s first appearance where he makes you choose between Wyatt or Fergus, is segmented into 22 elements on both rips: the slow whine as a separate part and then 21 different "hits" that play in random order over the building whine. So, I took the whine and looped it, then added a volume rise on the entire track so it would slowly crescendo, and then replayed through the cutscene about 20 or so times to put the hits in their proper places. In the end, I am left with one track I’ve entitled "The Choice" made of 22 segments. So far I’ve processed through 213 total tracks and have 61 complete tracks, minus the 10 tracks from cutscenes that results in a 71 track playlist for the first half of the game. With Chapters 1-7 done, I’ll be starting on Chapter 8 today.
I’ll try to get at the video files and look into Dragon Unpacker. Thanks for the heads up on that front. Hopefully it will work, because I hate to be missing the 10 songs that occur during cutscenes in the first half of the game. Although, 10 out of 71 is not terrible, I’d still like to have them and add them to the mix as they were in the game. I’ll see what can be done. However, if anyone wishes to aid me in this endeavor and assist with acquiring the music from the cutscenes, the help would most certainly be greatly appreciated and credit will indeed go to them.
