YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSS
But I can’t let this pass me by!
Thank you, !!!!!. 😉
And The12thGripper for the rips! 😀
I was planning to do Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon (and Mario & Luigi Dream Team) but I don’t know if robotortoise will beat me to it first. :p
Heh, while you do get to hear 32’s pattern and understand what it would sound like I’m not sure if you get to hear the actual loop end in the game because you only get to hear the song for like 6-7 seconds ever. It’s a bit like "Power of the Royal Sticker" but it doesn’t have any different patterns you wouldn’t hear in-game. I am a finder of little things like that.
Yeah It’s only pattern is a small beep loop with a random 4 melody playing occasionally similar to what you said before.
I would try to see if you could get ahold of XY’s .bcstrms to see if there’s any unused tracks in it (also the in-game version of the main legendary battle theme). Pokmon Rumble Blast also has some ok music in it, hopefully it isn’t all sequenced like the original.
Nope, if you want to do it, feel free to. Dream Team was easy. Dark Moon has a crud-ton of layered songs, and I don’t know the game as well as ALBW. I don’t wanna go through that. :/
If you want the streams, PM me. 🙂
Also, thanks so much for this! It’s about time we got this OST! 🙂
He already beat you to Dream Team when you said that. I’ll need to check if it has the fanfares not in the sound test though.
Pokemon X, Y don’t use BCSTMs unfortunately and instead 120kbps AAC audio. Pokemon X alone has 232 tracks in total so there probably more then a few unreleased jingles in there.

I’ve got the audio, don’t believe its all of it though. Can’t find the main theme in there. And awww, I was trying to find out how to dump the streams from their .arc with Dream Team.
I think you marked 3d Land as 3d World in the list.
Fixed in the Nexus thread.
Oh shit, so that WCS theme is real?
What’s that?
This thing. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWN2PdoHzRI) It sounds really fake to me, but .aac is what sealed the deal for me until what you just said. I hope it’s not because it’s pretty bad.
EDIT: I’d also be willing to do the scavenging myself if you could send me the files.
I like tracks 60 and 61, though. Nice to see unused tracks.
-Robotortoise
-Blue Sky Athletics track added
-World 8 Castle track added
-Castle tracks merged into medley on "Koopa’s Lava Castle"
-Rainbow Park has merged tracks each loop (one instrument is on the opposite side in the alternate version)
I didn’t include the fast versions nor the alternate versions of theme songs because they are just the original song with pass filters applied to them.
But you SHOULD add the fast versions and alternate versions.
They are in your Super Mario Bros. 3 rip, after all.

I changed the fast tracks recently with SMB3 and the rest, same as with NSMB. I thought the songs were different shortly but the filter just had that effect, you could get the same effect by tweaking the hi’s or lows with an equalizer easily. Maybe i’ll make a separate archive with just the alternates though. FLAC only.
Thanks. 🙂
I’m not a fan of incomplete rips, even if it’s a technicality. On a side note, good job getting those sequenced tracks! Did you use a line-in rip to get those?
Yeah, I recorded those for him.
