This record summarizes thirty years of collaboration between Director Andr� T�chin� and Composer Philippe Sarde. It exemplifies T�chin�’s iconoclastic tastes and strong will to stay away from the norm. A direction that Sarde was not only willing to take but that he consistently amplified with his music. Hence, the recording of a chamber-group outdoors for “J’embrasse pas” (I don’t kiss), or composing for chimes (the bells in Douai, France) in “Ma saison pr�f�r�e” (My favorite season) and for “H�tel des Am�riques” or even when the musicians shouted wildly in its Afro-Cuban Jazz piece “La radicale” for the film “Barocco”.

Let yourself be caught up in Sarde’s extravagant spiral. Enjoy!
