Great soundtrack. I’d say second to Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door if not on par and the best music from a Mario game (that I’ve heard so discludes Dream Team) on 3DS hands down.
Enjoy!
3-35 might be for when you get all the Toads in Decalburg at the beginning of the game, I think. As for 3-36 I’m not sure but it’s similar to 3-09.
Also, 3-28 is partially unused, as you never get to hear it fully in-game, similar to the Whale Ride theme in PM64. That might be the same for some of the Things, I’m not sure.
And A Thousand Miles Away actually has 3 variations, the 2nd variation is for when you’re far from a Mariachi Guy (I can’t remember if it’s strictly for if he’s on screen) the variation you have is for when you’re close to them. Maybe the 2nd variation was sequenced like "Kersti’s Plead"?

Maybe the 2nd variation was sequenced like "Kersti’s Plead"?Track 2-24 is the question portion of the Snifit or Whiffit and 3-37 is for the whack-a-snifit minigame portion. I think 3-36 is an unused jingle that was meant to play when you wake Wiggler with the trumpet hence the trumpet in the jingle compared to the boo cackles in 3-09.
No jingle plays when you get all the toads in Decalberg.
With track 3-28, there was probably a bit of Bowser dialog removed from before the final battle hence the loop and length. All of the songs for things play aside from maybe the Goat Remix but i’m not sure, it could be random with the Goat thing.
And I’ve checked with "A Thousand Miles Away", I’ve heard no 3rd variation, the Mariachi Guy variation crossfades in and out when the Guy is on or comes off screen.
It seems the file has been deleted/removed…
I just re-upped it with fixes.
Re-Uploaded:
-A few small track re-tags
-Usused Minigame is now "2-26 Mini-Game Challenge"
it has easily one of the best soundtracks in any Mario game i’ve ever played.
I have waited two years ever since the game’s release to see a proper rip of the music and now i finally
have it 100% complete and in flawless quality.
Excellent work !!!!!, just plain excellent!
Well if that’s true maybe that song was one of the earlier composed songs or something because maybe Bowser might’ve talked in the game at an early demo in the game? Either that or Kersti or Peach would’ve said something. This is something that could be put on TCRF later.
Strangely, nothing of the sort when played on foobar2000 (and other non-Itunes mp3 playback programs, I presume), or my iPod.
It’s probably because of the way !!!!! compresses the music, since it’s all in VBR in order to have better sound quality.
Either that or iTunes is just being nitpicky for no good reason. It sounds fine on everything else though.
!!!!!, any way you can get clapping and Low HP variations of "Gooper Blooper Battle Boogie" and "Super Mario’s Blooper Bash!"? Thank you!
EDIT: I also noticed you’re missing the theme when Kersti talks to you when you use her as a sticker (the sad music box theme), as well as the Low HP variation of "Spectacular Finale". Any chance you can upload those too? Thank you!
2. That Kersti talking to you segment is sequenced. Also like Gooper Blooper Spectacular Finale doesn’t have a low HP version.
