I know most people will think I’m crazy but I rather liked this movie. Is it scary? No. Is it a masterpiece? No. But I do feel like it’s kind of unique for a zombie film as it has a very memorable zombie leader. I know there was a leader in Land Of The Dead but it was a very forgettable zombie, unlike Abbott. The scenes with Abbott are very creepy and jumpy. The way they play him and how they end the movie suggest they were hoping to make a new horror icon and franchise, which unfortunately didn’t happen. Tom Savini’s role in this is very brief but kickass! The score is done by Alan Howarth, surprisingly. It’s a very good score, very 90s sounding, matching the look of the movie. Watch the movie and have your expectations cranked to the bare minimum. You may be surprised!
