Kenji Koiso, a young high school student with a gift in mathematics, works as a part-time moderator in the massive computer-simulated virtual reality world, OZ, along with his friend Takashi Sakuma. After Natsuki Shinohara invites him to participate in the 90th birthday of her great-grandmother, Sakae Jinnouchi, Kenji joins her on the journey to the grannys estate. While there, Natsuki introduces Kenji as her fianc� to Sakae and to the whole family.
And here begins the another thread of the story: on the first day night Kenji receives a mysterious e-mail with a numerical code. He thinks its a mathematical puzzle, so he ………….deciphers……….. it. The next day the world is in chaos: the transport system, factories, telephone lines, all computer-controlled system has collapsed. As it turns out this is because someone broke in to the security system of OZ…
