STUART LITTLE 1 & 2 & 3 (Silvestri & Orvarsson) (mixed lossless & lossy/FLAC)

In the first installment of the popular family film (1999), the Little family adopts an adorable little mouse with human qualities who faces comic misadventures while squaring off against the jealous family cat (Snowbell). The film was well-admired for its special effects and Alan Silvestri’s charming score won the ASCAP Film and Television Music Award for 2000. Nonetheless, the commercial soundtrack released on Motown featured 12 pop vocals, and only 2 tracks of score. This well-known alternative (on Cat & Mouse label) has 27 tracks, plus a bonus suite from Silvestri’s score to "Mouse Hunt".

In the 2002 follow-up film, Snowbell and Stuart have become more friends than foes and together try to find the missing canary who had recently moved in with the Littles. Silvestri again did the score, which is as delightful as the first. The commercial soundtrack on Sony featured 12 pop vocals, and just 2 tracks of score.

The 3rd installment finds the Little family on vacation in a forest, where a bear is threatening the local wildlife and takes Snowbell as a hostage. "Stuart Little 3" was not released in theaters, but was a less-expensive sequel made for video. This no doubt explains the less than accomplished special effects and perhaps the choice of Atli Orvarsson for composer over Silvestri, though Orvarsson created an equally tuneful score.

Tracks 1-27 are from Stuart Little 1. Track 28 is a suite from Mouse Hunt. All music by Alan Silvestri.
The tracks on this disc are a mix of lossless & lossy. Every copy I’ve heard or downloaded has this same mix, so I do not think this recording exists in all lossless.

STUART LITTLE 2 = tracks 1-40, totaling about 55 minutes ~ Music by Alan Silvestri
STUART LITTLE 3 = tracks 41-55, totaling about 25 minutes ~ Music by Atli Orvarsson
TAU & EAC indicated all tracks to be lossless except tracks 40 and 41, but both are only a half-minute long and rather inconsequential.

Many thanks! I love these scores so much!! I already have the Cat and Mouse label Stuart Little 2 (+3) album, but I only have what I think is a DVD rip of Stuart Little 1. Interestingly enough, the cover you’ve posted for the Cat and Mouse label Stuart Little 1 is the same one I have for the DVD rip. I don’t think it’s the original Cat and Mouse label cover – if you look on Google you’ll find the right one. It uses the same font as on the spine of the back cover.

As far as I remember, I saw a back cover for an FYC (or was it the sessions?) for Stuart Little 2 a long time ago, and it had on it a couple of tracks that are not on the Cat and Mouse label Stuart Little 2. …the cover you’ve posted for the Cat and Mouse label Stuart Little 1 is the same one I have for the DVD rip. I don’t think it’s the original Cat and Mouse label cover

The cover I originally posted for Stuart Little was indeed the wrong one. I do not even know where I got that one, since it isn’t even what came with my disc. My guess is that I found it online thinking it was better quality than my scan (my cover does have a crease through it) and I used it without catching the error. The incorrect cover has now been replaced, so any new download will get the correct cover, just as it now shows in the original post. For those who already downloaded the music and just want the correct cover, here is a link just for the artwork:
