Synopsis ‘Bleeding Through’

After Zelena steals Regina’s heart, Regina casts a spell so that she can speak across the realms to her dead mother, Cora, to discover the truth about why she abandoned Zelena, and Belle stumbles across what Zelena’s ultimate end game is. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, young Cora is duped by a man claiming to be a prince and finds herself alone and pregnant. But a chance meeting with a real prince could lead Cora to the royal life she’s always craved, but she must keep her pregnancy a secret or risk losing everything.

Belle is back on her A game in the book stacks, digging up some more dirt on Zelena’s master plan. One loophole in the plan to defeat Zelena is that she cannot succeed while Emma’s powers are in tact. Hook, charged with the task of draining Emma’s magic, still has to work his charms and get her to kiss his enchanted lips.

‘Once Upon a Time’ 3×18: Detailed synopsis for ‘Bleeding Through’

Actress Rebecca Mader is doing an amazing job of playing the villain on "Once Upon a Time." Not only does she play the bad girl well, but she also allows viewers to feel a bit sorry for her character. While she didn’t get a lot of screen time last week, fans can expect to see a lot more of her in next Sunday’s episode, titled "Bleeding Through." On April 15, KSiteTV posted a detailed synopsis of the upcoming episode.

A sneak peek showed Zelena holding up a heart and some fans wondered if it belonged to Regina. Viewers that came up with this theory are correct. The synopsis states that the Wicked Witch will steal Regina’s heart. Is this one of the items that Zelena needs to cast a time travel spell? It is possible since the preview shows the Wicked Witch is happy about something and then the sky is seen, swirling with green smoke, a sign that she has done something.

Regina thinks she should speak to her mother, so she casts a spell in order to do so. WetPaint posted a sneak peek of "Bleeding Through" and it shows Regina and the others having a seance. Then Regina and Mary Margaret are walking down a hallway and open one of the doors only to have it fly off of its hinges. There is also a violent swirl of wind inside the room. Regina looks absolutely terrified and Mary Margaret is frozen with shock. Does this have something to do with them calling the dead?

The "Once Upon a Time" season 3, episode 18 synopsis also reveals that Belle is going to discover what Zelena’s ultimate plan is. Will she and the others be able to stop the Wicked Witch? Regina does want to hear the truth from Cora as to why she abandoned Zelena. Could this information help stop the villain before it’s too late?

As for why Cora really abandoned her child, it turns out that she met a man who claimed he was a prince. However, she ended up alone and pregnant. Cora did finally meet a real prince and desperate to live a life of royalty, she had to keep her unborn baby a secret or lose it all.

I can’t wait to see who’s the actual father. I’m between King George (Charming’s father – sort of) and King Leopold (Snow’s father and Regina’s husband).

If King Leopold is the REAL father, it means that Cora �fell in love� with the same man Regina was married, right? (Ugh, gross!).

So, Snow and Zelena could be related… somehow? And that leads us to the BIG interest Zelena has with Snow’s unborn baby.

But didn’t Cora say that she wanted to be royalty and couldn’t? If Z was the either King’s baby, that gives Cora big incentive to get them to marry her. Unless, she was The Other Woman and had an affair with either King that resulted in Z being born on the wrong side of the blanket. In my head, that’s the only way that scenario would work.

I believe that too!! I still don’t have any idea of what Zelena wants from the baby. (The only thing it comes to my mind is that the baby’s an important piece in breaking the curse but… I don’t know)

I’m not entirely "sure" if that’s Regina’s heart…. Last thing we know is that Robin has it and I’m sure he will protect THAT heart. Perhaps we’re going to see a NOT-SO-EASY Zelena/Robin fight or Zelena will send Rumple to do the dirty work. (Money’s on the second one)

I think this would be fabulous! I wasn’t a big fan of Bell before, but after Frozen, I enjoy her more. I’ve always enjoyed Idina (aka Adele Dazeem haha!) I think if they can make this happen, it will be a great episode.

It would be a fun filler episode. 🙂

I wanted to watch "Once Upon A Time In Wonderland" until I found out it was directly connected to "Once Upon A Time".

My dad is into "Once Upon A Time" but I don’t know where he’s at in the series.

I’ll have to go to the local library and see what they have and start from there.
I could check Netflix, but since Netflix is mostly American (I’m from Canada), I doubt there will be anything for me.

Leaving me to only the library or piracy.
"Renting" is a very limited option as so many stores are going out of business and the only cheapest ones are ones that wait a couple years to get the DVD’s (DVD because a blu-ray investment will not yield as much profit as the ubiquitous DVD-player).

Either way, my dad will be happy. He’ll get to watch what he likes and then some.

The "Alice in Wonderland" series looks intriguing and all.
But, I fear that since I have not watched the "Once Upon A Time" series, I’ll be missing some vital points of the story.

IGN.com really spoiled the series for me.
Watching an IGN review really showed me that it was directly connected to the Once Upon A Time series.

So, now I have a lot of contemplating to do.

I still want to watch: Supernatural, LOST, Orange is the New Black, etc.

There’s just too much to juggle to jump straight into "Wonderland" without having the pleasure of "Once Upon A Time".

Heck, not even my other friends realize that "Wonderland" is a direct spin-off of "OUAT" series.
I don’t think most of them know the terms "Public Domain".

If I told my friends that "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)" never involved "Huck Finn" or "Mina Harker", they’d have no clue what I was talking about.

It’s all apples and oranges on the most extreme level without so much as a warning.

I still want to watch "Wonderland".
Different interpretations and views account for a lot.
There’s nothing more iconic the messed up than the 1951 animated tale.
That scarred me for life.

The 2010 remake by Tim Burton was a delight.

She was.
But totally different from the comics.
She didn’t have her vampiric abilities so a lot of liberties were taken with the painstaking production of League.

I’ve not read the comics but since everyone else pointed it out, it was annoying because I liked her as she was in the film.
But the "comic readers" had to had their way.

I thought Mina as the way she was portrayed was pretty damn good.

I’d love a sequel.

Or a reboot with the proper licensing to get all the original characters.
The replacement character for the Invisible Man wasn’t a big issue. It was rather interesting how they worked around it.

Spark, I do not recommend Wonderland. Besides, it is already done. Wonderland’s portrayal in the first season of Once Upon was quite nice, and was fleeting. There was no need to go any further, and no need to connect the Aladin characters. I am glad it’s gone and hope dearly Once Upon reaches it’s point too. Since ABC has not announced their upfronts there is always a chance this blight of a show will die. Once the curse was broken it should have been over. An extended mini-series. Now it is just a cartoon which is why Kirk is enthralled. I excuse Sorei, she’s just tired. And your dad. He’s Canadian and too polite not to watch it. 🙂

now THAT is a valid argument, I will adapt that for me: I am german and too polite not to watch something, I LIKE that!

😀 I did not dig wonderland, but I really do not enjoy it in any incarnation. Too close to my real world visions I suppose. I do not think that Aladin and Wonderland should mix. Wonderland should be a world unto itself, a completely different dimension unknown to almost all other realms.

I dont know if it is a fan thing or really thought of but I read somewhere that they wanted robbie kay to do a spin off once upon a time in wonderland to explore what happened after peter pan was born.

I dont know if that would work tho? Opinions

Although I liked the evil twist of Peter Pan and the actor nailed it, I think there’s no need to do another spin off.
