Florent Schmitt – a contemporary of Ravel, independent " apache " in his work gravitated to the late- romantic French music with splashes of Romance and Germanic influences, experimenting with rhythm and form. Nevertheless , creativity Debussy had an enormous impact on the world music, it’s common knowledge , and not one more or less talented French composer not passed impressionistic trends – just listen to the piano works presented here and read their names: "Twilight" (1913), "Shadows"(1917-20 ), "Pan and moonlight " (1920), written specifically for the ‘Revue musicale’ – a collection of initiations Debussy. "Children" – piano cycle (1940), intended for young performers , resurrects familiar moments of " Belle �poque ".
