YAIBA Ninja Gaiden Z gamerip/OST

I’m VERY surprised and excited to see Mr. Kirkhope on a Ninja Gaiden Game!! When my copy of the Soundtrack arrives, I will definitely enjoy the hell out of it!!

EDIT#1: But, one thing can almost be certain…it’s most likely NOT GOING TO SOUND like Banjo or Dk64…but, we’ll see. 😉

EDIT#2: Hopefully, this CD Soundtrack will contain ALL Songs from the Game and not just a few… 😉

It looks like the game sucks fully, but the music can still be cool… I truly hope Kirkhope hasn’t lost his touch. :/

Welp! My CD Soundtrack has arrived, just now and I must say…Majority of the Songs on this Album are below the 1 Minute Mark in terms of length….. 🙁 Just so you know, there’s a total of 59 Tracks. And Tracks 46 through 59 are songs from previous Ninja Gaiden Games…NOT arranged or anything of that matter. 🙁 Hmm? Without playing the Game or giving it a listen, yet, I’d say those short songs are…Maybe…Cutscene Tracks? Could be anyones guess, really! LOL 😛 As far as Kirkhope losing his touch…Well…That’s something I’m about to find out, myself. 😉 Tell you what, Lefance, I’ll give this Soundtrack a listen and tell you my honest thoughts about it. If you agree with my opinions, than, I’ll upload some samples from the CD Soundtrack and see if you like that. And, finally, if you indeed DO like the samples, I’ll upload the WHOLE OST to this Ninja Gaiden Game. I really hope you’ll like 320 MP3 and MEGA? Well, Lefance, I must admit: This Game’s Soundtrack completely sucks. Well, at least, for me, it does. There’s hardly any variety in Grant’s compositions for Yaiba and to boot, These short songs…do absolutely nothing to help the OST out. IMO, I think that the previous Ninja Gaiden Games had better Soundtracks than this one. In all Honesty, I’d rather go back and listen to Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie or even DK64 Soundtracks than to listen to this Game’s Music. 🙁 But, Lefance, allow me to say this much: I wouldn’t say that Mr. Kirkhope has lost "His Touch", I’d rather think that Mr. Kirkhope just didn’t "Hit the target" with this one. 🙁 In other words, to me, it’s a big time miss. Just my two cents. I’d have to give this Soundtrack a 4 out of 10. I’m sorry to say that I can’t recommend this Game’s Music to you or anyone else. BUT!! Maybe this might be "Up your alley"! If you want I can still upload the samples from the CD? Let me know, ok? I really hope I didn’t offend any Kirkhope fans out there!!! 😛 If so, I’m terribly sorry… 🙁

Hello, I was just wondering if this soundtrack has any elements of traditional Japanese music contained within. Is it similar to that style (with drums, flute, occasional strings) or is it more like rock music used in many action games or maybe a mix of both? If you could give your summary of the type of music, that would be great. I am just more of a fan of that traditional Japanese style. Thanks for your help.

Tracks 46~59 are from Ninja Gaiden NES version. No new arranges at all.

It would be awesome to have scans of that comic that comes with the game

I hear the game is pretty much… a miss.
There are some impressions that the …additional 2D mode (unlocked after finishing the game) is better than the main game. That bit of info is still keeping me on the edge so I guess I’m gonna try the game after all.

Thank you for the upload. I was hoping the short tracks would be suitable for ring tones perhaps, but the music is too synthy for my taste. There are some pretty gritty, deep and dark sounds used, similar to some EDM like drum & bass or dubstep. Those are cool in their own right, but overall the sound is just too cheesy for me.

The comic would probably be interesting. If I can find a digital version, I will read it on my tablet while listening to this!

I am not sure if these are the same as the comic book that comes with the game, but I found some digital versions of a comic for this game. It looks like there is supposed to be a total of 3 issues. I have found the first two issues and the third seems like it is yet to be released. They are only 10 pages of story each, so I am guessing that all 3 combined is what comes with the game, but can’t be sure.

The comic book with game comes with ALL 3 parts in Trade-Paperback.

Thanks For the Sound Track about to give it a listen, I love NG games so Hopefully the game/soundtrack are at least "ok.." but from the sounds of everyone the tracks are short. Bummer… :/

There are good tracks, and there are annoying tracks. Track 6 is awesome, very dark mood. But then Track 7 is annoying, maybe because of it’s length… but it’s annoying.
Not all of the soundtrack has little length tracks. we have plenty of tracks with 3:40 minutes others with 2 minutes.
I am still deciding what to think of this soundtrack. There are some tunes I love, others break my nerves a bit…

i am with the consensus here that it’s pretty weak. Grant did say on Facebook the director asked for some really crazy ideas, so I just go with the fact the weakness is the director’s fault, and not Grant’s lol. The first track on the CD though is AWESOME……probably my favorite on the whole CD. That section around 0:54 is just kickass.
