FWIW,this is where my main interest lies in listening to movies scores – the MGM musicals of the 1950’s. It ain’t because of all the singing and dancing,though that was the pinnacle of what Hollywood could stage in terms of extravagent production. My weakness is for listening to the MGM Studio Orchestra,possibly the finest in world at the time. They still rate numero uno with me.

As a follow up here,this Cole Porter score has been carefully restored to sound nothing short of incredible considering it’s age. I couldn’t be more delighted, and thus far this is my most treasured downloaded movie score.
