Rocky III OST – Expanded Edition

As requested by hgohari73 & Edroach. A brand new edition to the cult classic sequel.
It’s the most complete version … well, it is complete but not all together. Apart from 2 tracks which as bonuses on disc 2, everything, except one track, you hear in the movie is here for the first time. The one track couldn’t be isolated clear and concise so an album alternate is in its place. The 2 other tracks on disc 2 are movie versions but they have more background noise that I couldn’t get around, I couldn’t leave them off this album either. There is some background sounds and even a line of dialogue on disc 1, track 6.

Fans of the franchise, you’re in for a treat. Enjoy …

It wasn’t easy to find a high quality instrumental version. The first 10 tracks of CD 2 is from the original album. CD 1 is presented in original movie order.

Well, hgohari73 if I’d do Rocky V, I can’t at present because I have the original Elm Street, Alien trilogy and Superman trilogy to finish apart from other anniversaries like Dumb & Dumber. My plate is full right now, sorry … if I was going to do another Rocky score, it would be the second, but not yet

I’m happy you enjoyed it so much but my plate is still full. I have Nightmare on Elm Street 30th anniversary, Superman trilogy, Alien trilogy 35th anniversary box set, Dumb & Dumber 20th anniversary and Roadhouse 25th anniversary projects to finish … doesn’t mean I won’t do it, I just can’t right now

Giving this a try…. The Rocky soundtracks are criminally incomplete and in so much need of a remastering…. so… many many thanks !

Listening to it right now… Compared to the other DVD-BR Rips yours is definitely a solid notch above and a real treat to the ears (despite the minor background noise sometimes).

I hope you can do Rocky V and Rocky Balboa too !
