Oh and I’ve gotta say I usually don’t talk much about the OSTs i post……. but this is some of Masaru Yokoyama’s best work right here. Seriously this album gave me goosebumps when i was just skimming through it. He uses the orchestra he’s given here splendidly. I definitely can’t wait for the next one ^_^.

Damn Shoji Kawamori really knows how to choose the composers for his shows and who wonder what he has for us in his new just recently announced Macross series 🙂

well, in one way, we can see him working in something new. Finally. But, as much fan of macross I might be, isn’t it enough already?
I mean, by now, Macross series only makes sense to us Fans who follow it by it’s very beginning. Most people did not like Macross Frontier, because they didn’t get the old macross references.

I did not knew this was from Shoji Kawamori. I sware I did not knew what the hell was this and was not caring about. I just wanted the soundtrack because of the composer. I was listening teh soundtrack and I was "the music makes me think of mechas. why?"

It’s interesting how 2 great directors dropped off Yoko Kanno from being in the music composition, since they always worked with here. Shoji Kawamori and Shinichiro Watanabe.
AT least one thing is for sure… There will be NO UNRELEASED TRACKS, like Yoko Kanno usually does to our hearts, not releasing the best tracks ever.

With anything Macross related I`m very optimist and knowing Kawamori it will delivered since well there are so much material to work in the macrossworld. I just love the universe :3

I am optimist too. After Macross frontier, I got to be certain that Shoji never fails us. 🙂
Yeah, we can always rip. I have done that. You have done that. But it’s not the same as an original full composition in cd :p
But I do prefer to have a track with sfx then not having it at all. (like Vajra Rampage battle track)
