Note: every cue from LLLR’s recent release is here (mostly untouched) but for the track "Danger in Space" it featured a weird fade-in versus how the cue originally opened so I mixed the "bootleg" cue into LLLR’s version to complete the cue. For everything else, I just followed this guide (http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=84990&forumID=1%20?iframe=true&archive=0) to put the remaining library cues into proper order. As a fair warning, not every cue is going to sound "great" due to the age and quality of its source. Until the rumored 37 track library cue album comes out, this will have to do. I also incorporated all of the Creepshow cues from the 2003 LLLR re-issue to compare/contrast the new presentation of the cues.

LaLaLand Records’ mastering for some of the cues was strange (a recurring theme on their newer projects) on this version versus their original version. For instance, the track "Henry Leaves Wilma a Note" cross-fades the piano section beginning at 1:20 (on the 2003 album) into the preceding section on the 2014 re-release. Then in the track "Fluffy Eats Wilma," the opening stinger FADES IN! One second it’s fun to listen to this album, the next it’s frustrating how many strange changes were made to the cues.

Creepshow has always been a huge favorite film of mine since I was a wee child and I remember Creepshow was one of the first few albums of LLLR’s that I purchased way back in 2003. I’m extremely excited that they re-released it with some of the library cues and the complete John Harrison score but a little letdown that there are so many awkward changes to the music. It was a great prototype to get started with nonetheless.

I heard several complaints about the new cover art by LLLR. Complain all you want but I like it so I’m keeping it.

Has anyone received their Waxword Records variant yet? I have the Ocean Blue one and where track 17 (Richard Watches Them Drown) is supposed to be, I hear track 1 (Prologue) repeated. I’ve contacted Waxworks Records but have yet to receive a reply.

The Waxworks LP cover looks pretty awesome.

Love this cd version for many reasons, including the slightly different mix than the Japanese CD version I own. Love the library tracks. Many are missing, but some are out there to find. Does ANYone know what the library cue name is for the music when Bedelia is sitting at Nathan’s grave and talking? Was very sad to not see this on the LALALand release. I cannot find any info on the name of it either!

OMGOODNESS! I had no idea John Harrison composed this soundtrack. I always knew he was a talented musician. John spent a number of years in the late 70’s early 80’s on the road with my father rhythm and blues legend, Roy Buchanan, as a bass player.

When I first started getting these tracks together years ago, I thought it did appear in the film in the Tide segment (around the time Richard says he could cover Harry all the way up), as there is a string section in the middle that is re-used throughout a few cues. Years later I found the correct track (35 – Covering Harry All Up), or William Loose and John Seely – Mysterioso 04.

Not a big deal that one track was not in the film, as I am sure the rest of us agree. The job you did on this was amazing. I tried to find the Capitol tracks for years and finally gave up. Then the LaLaLand cd came out, And while it is great, still many tracks were missing. You got most of what was missing. Priceless to a fan of the film! Thanks again!

I’m getting "something went completely wrong" (no joke) when I try to import it via the app. It’s the only Mega link I’ve had issues with.

I finally got around to listening to the film version and apart from some transitional alterations I needed to make along with adding full versions of edited cues as supplemental material, it’s very impressive. I also substituted the 2003 LLLR CD to replace some cues as the mixing on the new album did not match what was in the film. Henry Writes a Note being a notable cue. The middle section was shorter than on the original album, only by a few seconds but enough to alter the transition to something less desirable in my opinion. I’m also working on swapping out the prologue and main titles music with the 2003 LLLR album as it more closely matches how it sounds in the film. The mixing on the new album was exceptional in some places while other times it was head-scratching. Anyway thanks go to your friend for taking most of the work out. I’ll finish his work.

I’ve only had a quick listen, but I have not even recognised any changes between Andy’s original edit and your own. What exactly did you do here?

Slight update. Found one more track, this time from The Crate. A small portion of this track plays right after Henry shoots Wilma in his fantasy. The track is William Loose – Time and Space. It has been added to the Mega folder, track 61. The portion of this track that features in the movie starts at 1:48.

I’ve only had a quick listen, but I have not even recognised any changes between Andy’s original edit and your own. What exactly did you do here?

Listen a little closer. I added some reverb to smooth out some troublesome transitions mainly. I can’t remember everything I did but I remember it wasn’t a complete overhaul or anything.

Just cause I don’t post often, doesn’t mean I’m not always here. It’s also not my first account on this site. I’ve also barely downloaded anything from here at all. And to almost literally say "being here longer doesnt count as being here longer" is retarded. Oh, you’re a cunt, by the way. Almost a year old post, but I thought I should still tell you to go fuck yourself. Have a wonderful day.

Now now folks. This is one of the reasons I don’t post here anymore: everybody ends up bickering and calling each other filthy names, taking the focus off the music and stifling creative opinions (as if there are very many up to this point). You’re both entitled to your personal opinions about each other but duke it out via PM. I try to keep an air of positivity around the place but like normal humans, I slip up and make an ass out of myself. Like that silly thing I did with another user here named Wimpel. I may have been a little impatient but to be denied links altogether is, frankly, bullshit. I wasn’t nasty about it until after the fact. Out of spite, I posted links to some of his shares in his threads. That’s what this site has become: a bunch of pettiness. There’s still some amazing users here but there’s also so much negativity now that it’s just not a fun safe haven to come to anymore. I follow and participate in threads up to a certain point before it just becomes rubbish when people start bickering. This thread only made it a whole 3 pages. Not a record but the point is keep it positive and if you have nasty words or thoughts about another user, please message them directly. If their inbox is full, move on. Don’t let somebody’s bullshit ruin your sunshine.
