The audio is from a game rip. The files match my game rip to the exact sample and look identical in spectral frequency displays. That and the fact that they’re all 48000Hz and not 44100Hz which is what they should be for a CD rip.
for me I would want mp3, but think everyone will prefer flac.
Hate to bump a semi-old thread to argue, but it’s much wiser to tell people to rip rare CDs like this with lossless compression, it serves as an archive format and archiving with lossy MP3s isn’t the best idea in the world.
It’s extremely easy to convert lossless files to lossy MP3s with tools like dBpoweramp.
