All Professor Layton soundtracks [FLAC &MP3] (MEGA)

All the Layton Soundtracks in FLAC and MP3, tags are in Japanese on "The Eternal Diva" and "The Devil’s Flute" due to those rips being from before their localization were done. CD rips for everything but "Layton Brothers: Mystery Room", "Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask" and "Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy" as they never got CD releases…
None of the rips were made by me, the names of whoever did them are in the names of the archives, all I did was rehost them.

The bitrate for the "Layton Brothers" files is variable (Lame’s V2 preset), for more details on the source of the encodes you should ask the ripper, Leccoc

And "The Miracle Mask" and "The Azran Legacy" are line-in recordings that were done by USS Enterprise with good equipment (and or noise cancellation).

Looking at the spectrums shows there isn’t a whole lot to be gained from the FLAC files, but they are available to those who want them anyway.

One, people have been trying to get clean gamerips out of the post-Curious Village DS games (especially of the credits themes) for almost a decade. How did you get these?

Two, could you also rip Last Specter’s credits theme?

I used a DS ripping program called Tinke. (https://github.com/pleonex/tinke) It seems like the makers of the program found a way to unpack items from the Layton games despite their unique encoding. It doesn’t recognize all items, but I was able to find and extract the credits sound files after some digging and translate them to a normal audio file.

Unfortunately, the program was unable to recognize 10% of the files in Last Specter and it appears the credits theme belongs to the 10%. Perhaps someone more skilled than I will be able to find and extract it someday.

But awhile back Issou posted the original artist’s version of the credits theme, and it sounds almost exactly like the one in the game. I don’t know if it will satisfy a completionist, but it’s good enough for me.
