THE MOVIE

Sam and Molly are a very happy couple and deeply in love. Walking back to their new apartment after a night out at the theatre, they encounter a thief in a dark alley, and Sam is murdered. He finds himself trapped as a ghost and realizes that his death was no accident. He must warn Molly about the danger that she is in.

THE SOUNDTRACK

Maurice Jarre scored the original soundtrack for the film, using moody and sometimes growling scraping music. Underlying the score is haunting instrumental versions of "Unchained Melody".

This is the complete Ghost (1990) soundtrack v2 using new editting techniques
to remove about 98% of the FX. I want to thank megamattterra for the original template, and as such this version follows the track list closely.

For a bonus, I’ve included track #31 "Unchained Melody (Timeless Version)" from a Righteous Brothers greatest hits album which was inspired by the film.

Ah, yet another reasoned and we’ll thought out opinion crafted with kind and eloquent language.

1. Did you not read the description? He clearly states that he put this together himself and that there are some sfx. It’s pretty reasonable from that to guess that it might not be of the highest quality.
2. There’s never been a more complete release of this score – there hasn’t even been any other bootlegs good enough to be spread about and sought after. That alone should clue you in that getting a quality rip from a DVD or Blu-ray isn’t really possible.
3. This guy took the time and effort to put this together. It’s great if only to show what would be included in an eventual release of the material. He’s also offered to up for you FOR FREE. All it cost you was a little bit of time for it to download. You don’t like it? Great. Bully for you. Know how easy it is to stick it in the trash? Even easier than downloading it.

You COULD HAVE said something informative like " thanks for your efforts, but this has more sfx than i expected," but no, you blessed us with the most succinct and abbreviated review possible. Are you helping other people that might think of downloading this? Possibly, yes, but there’s no need to do it at the expense of the original uploader. Your post reveals tha, in fact, it is YOU who sucks.

This is a file sharing forum and people will share their works, some good, some so-so.
But that’s the point, we all share.

As pointed out by my good friends above, creating custom Soundtracks is a labor of love; it’s not just copying and posting. Since a real (complete) soundtrack hasn’t existed in the last 24 years (and not likely to), this is my contribution to the fans that appreciate Maurice Jarre’s work.
So, I’m sorry if you don’t like the soundtrack, but as you may know, unforuntately I can’t please Everybody.

You transcoded the original frequency, worsening the quality :/ It should be 44100KHz, since it’s from a CD, your file has 48000KHz.

You’re very observant.
The tracks that originated from CD quality material are sampled at 44.1KHz or 44,100 times per second.
The tracks that orignated from the DVD are sampled at 48KHz or 48,000 times per second.
There are varying opinions that the DVD audio, being a lossy format is sonically worse than other pure formats.
But I’m sure, being an Industrial Light Cylon, you already knew that.
