Duty Roulette…

… really irritates me. 99.99% of the time I go to that, the bonus is only for feckin Tanks! Now I know Tanks have a difficult job to do and people prefer to be DD’s as that’s a no brainer job… but for people like myself who prefer to level via dungeon runs (as opposed to damn Fates due to all the feckin lag!!), this just aggravates me to no end.

Yeah I can do levequests and such… but it’s not what I really want to do, which with how the game is designed, traditional XP parties from FFXIO just are feasible at all. Only Dungeon Run Parties or feckin Fate Parties…

Just a little rant on my part (so shut your mouth Enkidoh!!)… just annoyed.

ANYWAY, the DR bonus is just reflective of deficiencies in the game’s design where there is an imbalance in the amount of DD classes/Jobs compared to tanks and healers. And as you noted, tanking and healing are much more challenging than DDing – which only compounds the issue. Personally, I love playing all three roles, so I guess it doesn’t really matter to me, but those who like to main a DD seriously will have issues. Unfortunately until Yoshi-P brings out more tank classes/Jobs, I don’t think the problem will be fixed easily any time soon.
