I’m never worried about subs for japanese stuff. I don’t need subs to watch a japanese show or movie. Normally RAW is the first thing I see in nyaa-torrents, so I take what I need.

I did not remembered. The music is also on the original game as After Burner (∞ Climax Mix)

Sega was the publisher for Bayonetta so that didn’t surprise me to much lol.

That said i have to say this OST is really good. Hearing some of the themes from the game being fully orchestrated is utter bliss. Of course the original stuff is just as good. I find myself liking the track "Advent Angels" for some reason. That drum beat is so catchy and adding that trumpet and menacing strings just makes it so addicting to listen too. I think Masato did a fine job on this one and it’s definitely an album I’ll be replaying again and again in the near future. I still need to find time to watch the movie though =/.

Last real good anime movie I saw was… I don’t know… Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s Highlander Search for Vengeance. I am not counting with the CGI movies like Biohazard Damnation or Appleseed ex Machina, because those are the TOP STAND UP WELL GOOD JOB, in everything.
I am sick of japanese making movies that are always alternated re-telling of series, not to mention movies that just came up to finish series. I don’t consider those movies, more like a large episode. For example: James Cameron TV series Dark Angel, the last episode was 90minutes.

This movie is really, really, really good. I mean… I saw comments comparing this to anime movies from the 90ts, and I thought "Is it that good?" Because in the 90ts we had a lot of Good epic anime movies. This movie, as an adaptation of the game (I have not played the game yet) seems pretty good. And the action scenes are awesome, we have those crazy camera angles to make the action scenes even more superb. The Gun duels are choreographed… CHOREOGRAPHED!! Something that anime nowadays rarely does, and when it does, is the biggest joke on the universe for last 5 seconds…
anyway… This proves that Devil May Cry anime could have been done Good. DMC anime is pile crap. Dante appears, shoots a bullet, end of the episode. It was not fun to watch, because Dante is a God in there, and no one is a match for him. Where is the fun in that? Bayonetta movie, the duels are not one sided like DMC anime. You really feel like it’s skill fight, and that she is not that Goddess killing everything like Dante. (not to mention that the last episodes of dante sounded pedophile to me)
Bayonetta movie, with 90 minutes length…. fuck. My hope in humanity got slightly restored. This was the same production and director for the Super Street Fighter IV OVA, which is much better then the crap Street Fighter IV Movie; by now capcom should already know that fans don’t care about the plot (which in this case is not that interesting…) and fans want to see favorite characters fighting. Super Street Fighter IV OVA had more action scenes and martial arts in 30 minutes, then Street Fighter IV Movie in 70 minutes…. a boring movie…
Back to Bayonetta,
I was hopeful that the movie could have some good action scenes. Not spectacular… good. But the movie is Spectacular. Plus the character designs. Finally I see actual realistic and not fluffy cute character designs. No Moe. Just a serious movie, with a serious plot, and serious content.
Again, not counting with the CGI movies I mention as the best, since 2007 I have not seen such a real good animated movie by the japanese.
(Not counting with Macross Frontier movies. I was forgetting those. Shoji Kawamori will always be true to himself and his fans. So his movies are always making us going back to the 90ts)
