Mr. Stearns’s score is in its way as technologically sophisticated as Mr. Fricke’s cinematography. He has stitched together and embellished a compendium of ethnic and original music that weaves sounds ranging from the David Hykes Harmonic Choir to the chanting monks of the Dip Tse Chok Ling Monastery in Dharamsala, India. To me, the result sounds a bit papery on the top end in a way that the MP4 does not. I don’t know why.
Anyway, like my Koyaanisqatsi post (Thread 130552), this is one long track – 97 minutes and 44 seconds.

A Big thank you ribonucleic for the link, I have recently acquired the film in 8x blu ray and the quality is superb. As for the music it is an excellent soundtrack. Thanks again ribonucleic.
