The Hastily Cobbled Together for a Fast Buck Album

a bootleg album (first issued in 1981) by Monty Python of unused material from the recording sessions of their Charisma albums, compiled by their producer Andre Jacquemin. Mike Hurley was the introduction voice over who Andre was working with at the time. It was proposed as a new album from Python produced by Andre Jacquemin, and copies were passed onto Motorhead during the recording of Michael Palin’s guest appearance on their Rock ‘n’ Roll album. Neither the compilation nor most of its contents have ever been officially released.

This is a transcode – all circulating copies online are from either a 128kbps MP3 or a Realaudio conversion of a CDR dating from the year 2000. The files all feature an unpleasant high frequency whine.

There *are* better/alternate copies in existence, though, just not online as far as I can tell. A new rip from the analogue source would be a good starting point.
