The cover is weird because the show is REALLY weird lol :P.
My gif comes from Kill la Kill an anime that was made by Trigger which has a few animators that worked on Guren lagaan which is why the animation and character design is kind of similar.

EDIT: M16 is gorgeous. It should’ve gotten released on the main OST. Absolutely beautiful piece. It makes me want to see Iwasaki tackle something with a full orchestra.

I also like M21 a lot. Don’t ask me why, it’s just got some awesome percussion and beats going on. Very jazz-y.

M25A and M27 also close off the non-remix part of the album beautifully. Again, somebody give Iwasaki the budget to do a full orchestra, this is beautiful!

I’m with you NotSpecial. The first soundtrack was not bad, but this one did surprised me indeed. I like the various stylish compositions; eclectic album for sure. Worth the listen

Not might. IS in the works. They confirmed a second season about a month after the first ended and it’ll probably show up in the summer season.

I tend to be warry till I see trailers so hehe…

At lease they aren’t beating around the bush about doing more for this series… unlike the Sailor Moon thing that who knows when that will really be shown to the masses… Now if only the other series that shares the same city as Gatchaman Crowds had more… need more magical Index.

Music is superb, as the first one. Thanks. My only grip with this is that they shouldn’t be using the Gatchaman moniker.
