about the donations~

yay we raised everything! here are my priorities now:

1) buy/setup new server
2) transfer everything over
3) add everyone’s bonuses that donated

so it might take a few days, but they’re coming

thanks again to everyone that helped out, we should be in the clear for a few months at the very least 🙂

Hi Sarah. Uh, not to be rude or anything, but… they wrote a few days back that you have terrabytes of data. Wouldn’t you be able to make things easier by, say, deleting, every download thread started in 2008 with dead links? It would also make seearching pages a lot easier because all the old pages would be gone then…

the terabytes of data is throughput (ie what our servers send in bandwidth), it’s a measure of our traffic, not what’s sitting on the drives

I’m confused, all the download links are on separate hosting sites, what is it people are downloading from you that is so expensive?

Wow, this got resolved faster than I would’ve expected. That said, it’s great to see this place back and on its feet, and hopefully this doesn’t happen again anytime soon.

If you want a bigger avatar you can contact me with the image you’d like and i can add them while Sarah is sorting out stuffs. I’m guessing there were certain limitations on dimensions, though?
