2014 Game & Soundtrack Of The Year

Well, another year’s about to come to an end, and what a year it’s been for me. I was introduced to the Vocaloid stuff very early in the year and was absolutely blown away, but even then, neither of the Hatsune Miku soundtracks were able to claim the title of Soundtrack of the Year, so without further ado…

…DuckTales Remastered. Such an amazing soundtrack from start to finish. It was these 2 games that fought it out all year long with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd trying hard to claim both titles, but fell short.

GotY: Spike-Chunsoft – Danganronpa 2 -Goodbye Despair-
OotY: Saigou Ken’ichirou – Youkai Watch Original Soundtrack

I only have 5 games from 2014, or 6 if FFX/X-2 HD counts. Lol.
They are:
Mario Kart 8
Super Smash Bros. U
Hyrule Warriors
Fairy Fencer F
Drakengard 3

For my personal game and sountrack of the year, it’s a no-brainer: Drakengard 3. I love this game and its soundtrack much more than the others, even though I’ll admit it was a very rage-inducing game.

Either Dark Souls 2 or Danganronpa 2 – for game and soundtracks!

Terrible year, but those games were great.

Still plenty of time for others to post.

Didn’t really buy much new games this year but Hyrule Warriors probably for game of the year.

Mario Kart 8 probably for soundtrack of the year. Especially that jazzy Dolphin Shoals and Dragon Driftway music. Hopefully it will get an official soundtrack…

Bayonetta 2 could easily win this one 🙂
