The Myth is a 2005 Hong Kong martial arts-fantasy-adventure film directed by Stanley Tong, starring Jackie Chan, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Kim Hee-sun and Mallika Sherawat.

Hong Kong’s probably most foremost superstar of the present kicks and punches his way to glory once more in his latest big budget silver screen extravaganza The Myth. He stars next to charming Korean elite actress Kim Hee Sun ( Bichunmoo, Calla). Die hard fans of Jackie have cause to cheer because not only did he display his unbeatable martial arts skills once more, but also contributed his musical talent to the same-titled original soundtrack.

For the blockbuster film that was directed by Stanley Tong (also responsible for Jackie’s movie hit Police Story) the production team arranged a powerful 19-track filled the instills all the on-screen action with even more magic. Collector’s may want to check out this dynamic sound spectacle, which includes the special duet "Beautiful Myth" that shines with Hee Sun & Jackie’s harmonic vocals among other memorable tracks.

The theme song for the film, titled Wujin De Ai (無盡的愛; Endless Love) was performed in both Mandarin and Korean by Jackie Chan and Kim Hee-sun. Chan’s stanzas were all sung in Mandarin, while Kim’s solo stanzas were sung in Korean. However, the duets were all sung in Mandarin.

An alternative version, titled Meili De Shenhua (美麗的神話; Beautiful Myth), was performed in Mandarin by Sun Nan and Han Hong.

The song was reused as the ending theme song for the 2010 television series of the same title. This version was performed in Mandarin by Hu Ge and Bai Bing.

Hans scored "Last Days, The (1998)" and Nathan is the associate composer.

Shame on these Hong Kong composers!
lol, they’re not Hong Hong composers, actually both Nathan Wang and Gary Chase were born in Los Angeles, California, USA — they’re Hollywood composers.

Zimmer is not a rip off man!!!! let`s call him a reinventor, as he`s always reinventing himself in his scores 😀
