The Ultimate White Christmas (2011) – IRVING BERLIN & VA – ALAC lossless

Since no genuine OST of 1954’s "White Christmas" exists (at the time, there were squabbles about putting Bing Crosby & Rosemary Clooney on the same label) this CD mixes original soundtrack songs, restoring Clooney for Peggy Lee where possible (Lee subbed for Clooney in the original OST). There’s also extra tracks by Clooney and Lee. Confused? Me, too, but it’s still a great listen. Happy Ho-ho.

At this time of the year, I still believe that Kritzerland or La-La Land, maybe Varese Sarabande will release at last the original soundtrack of this musical.
Almost all the tracks starring Rosemary Clooney still exist in the Paramount vaults, they are not in good condition but I bet they could release a genuine OST 🙁
