Indeed it was the fellowship theme of the hobbit… thorin’s theme does appear but that’s all. I guess there s a narative reason for that

I was so pissed off when the projectionist turned off the music about halfway through the credits; trying to kick people out so they could clean the theatre. >:O

I don’t think they’re allowed to do that and you might file a complaint… I went to see it in the Boeing IMAX (that uses specialized 70mm film) and if they did that I would have filed a complaint, along with the 100 or so other people staying to listen to the music as well. That’s just a dick move by your theater.

Totally dicky. I also saw it in IMAX HFR 3D, and I feel like it cut short my entire cinematic viewing experience. Of course, I don’t expect anyone else to understand that, least of all the theater cleaning people.

I’m sure next year when I see part 3, they’ll cut out the credits entirely in order to make room for an extra screening. 😛

I saw it at Pacific Science Center IMAX in Seattle, and they just cut the trailers (which normally there is only one MAYBE two) and it played thru the entire credits. Their sound system is amazing! It was brilliant!!
