Already posted in the forum but in itunes lossy audio, here is the Summer In February soundtrack this time ripped in lossless and also in MP3.
For those already familiar with this score knows that this is an highly pleasant music to listen. For me it was kind of a surprise because i only heard Benjamin Wallfisch before on (the loud but easily forgettable) Conquest 1453, that i didn’t expect that he was capable to write a score with such sweet melodies.
It is beautifully orchestrated for strings and woodwinds instruments, and with piano here as the main instrument that carries the score on various solos. It resembles to Dario Marianelli Pride & Prejudice, a score that also makes a large use of the piano and a centered string orchestrations, so if you like Dario score you sure will also like to hear Summer In February too. Enjoy 🙂
Since this will be my last share this year i want to give you a big new year hug!!
See you all in 2014 🙂
I wish you a Happy New Year!
🙂
Happy new year!
Maybe someone could reupload the 1st part? Sanico?
I will re-upload soon, but in the meantime you can listen the MP3 rip until the lossless upload is ready.
I like Wallfisch’s "Peter Pan" very much, but was disappointed by his "Hammer of the Gods" – so I’m curious about this one. Anyway, your description sounds promising! 🙂
