Interesting… I have an NTSC console, and both the US and European versions play at the same speed (fast). Which speed is correct?
I really don’t know – now it’s just a matter of taste I guess 🙂
In my Megadrive II was the special lever (under side panel) to switch frequencies. Speed of the music – the only thing in that it effected (Vectorman, Comix Zone and others).
Xmplay player with VGM (winamp input) plugin has an option for that:
