Guess who’s back with a brand new rap! And I don’t mean ‘rap’ in the musical sense, but there is something music related going on here.

Just in case the title didn’t give it away and you stumbled here by chance, today’s soup of the day is an album from the ever-popular Super Nintendo classic: Final Fantasy VIII.

And if you came in here thinking that FF VIII was actually a SNES title, then sometimes it pays to read the fine print: Final Fantasy VIII is originally and always a PlayStation game.

This album was done by taking a buttload of MIDIs and a soundfont and converting them to MP3. That almost sounds like a lot of work, but like almost every one of my projects, it took all of a few clicks to set it up and waiting 5ish minutes for them to convert. The real work is finding the right MIDI files, but that’s a story for never.

Anyway, this album is for anyone who wants it. You don’t want it? Then go home, you’re drunk.

Thanks, I love your witty humour by the way. Don’t see posts like that here too often ^_^
