Great 20th century style modern score from Craig Safan. Very different from The Last Starfighter. Even though Horner’s score is very avant grade as well, it has a lot more melodic content that Safan’s. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’ll have to get my hands on it now. Safan’s version seems to be much in the same vein as John Corigliano’s Altered States. I can’t wait to check it out!
