I think it is difficult, and perhaps futile, to compare the two Tron movies: Tron (1982) and Tron: Legacy (2010).
Now, both Tron movies bear the imprimatur for what�s possible for computer generated visual effects, but in truth, Tron and Tron: Legacy are two different movies made by different teams using different technologies.
Both Tron and Tron: Legacy share the same general concept�that is, the main character getting sucked into a world inside a computer where escape is impossible but can only be found somewhere across the Sea of Simulation�but execute it in a different spirit, heart, and soul.
And it�s all because of the differences in age, right?
