I have great memories of discovering this film on late night cable while vacationing as a teenager in Virginia. Bored with nothing to do, I watched it on a lark and, 20-something years later, it’s still an all-time favorite — I still watch it at least once or twice a year. Despite the film’s cult following, I’ve never known or met anyone else who’s seen it, so it’s nice to see the film (or at least its soundtrack) get a little love here. Thanks for sharing; I’ll be curious to hear how or if this differs from the isolated score on the old Elite DVD.

Well, I too have watched this movie many times since it was broadcast the first time in my country (Germany). We had taped it from the tv, and my wife and me loved to repeatedly watch it. Great performances by the boy, a sometimes funny, sometimes scary script, great music, always a pleasure to repeatedly view it! I even bought the original soundtrack album when it was released. Yes, we were cult followers of this movie, for sure! 🙂
