I’ve heard that this Game is suppose to have an "Epic Cinematic" Soundtrack to it…count me in on wanting this!! 😀 So, guys, any ideas on how to get this OST?
And by that…I mean this: If someone can direct me to a place where I can buy the Whole Package, please let me know, ok? 😉
I would be more than happy to buy it and upload the Soundtrack, ASAP. 🙂

so all of these people who preordered the game should receive this Shadow Pack and the OST is part of it. So where’s the OST damn it?!

Lorn, the dude who appears to be the other composer (Helghast side of music heh) says the OST will be available separately from the game, whatever that means (is it a PS Store release, iTunes or something else hmmm):

unfortunately its been delayed till next week, when the european PS4 launch is, but who knows we could get it much earlier then that.

this is what Killzone – Official Page on facebook said about the release "Due to the delay of a required update for PS4, we are currently unable to distribute Shadow Fall’s soundtrack to everyone who pre-ordered the Shadow Pack. Rest assured, the update will be coming shortly and everyone who redeemed their voucher will receive a copy of the OST as soon as the update has arrived."

Still waiting on this. Wonder what the the update is, maybe the ability for the system to play MP3’s if they want you to download the OST from the store to your PS4.

I did think about that and it really could be. Or at least one of the reasons. PS4 can’t play mp3 files on purpose. No matter how ridiculous it is. Sony wanted to push their ‘Music Unlimited’ (streaming-only) service but people were like "can’t play mp3s? u mad Sony?" so they have to enable mp3 playback through the system update eventually.

So anyway, OST has been stealthily added to PSN, gotta do it on PS4, it’s somewhere around 1 gb, has 30 tracks (seems lossless), plays only on PS4 as an application – fucking bummer. All that happened on Dec 31. (according to official Killzone forums)

People complain the tracks can’t be played even in the background, there isn’t any option to copy the tracks from ps4 to some removable storage plus ps4 won’t be cracked anytime soon, so it seems we’re stuck at the moment. Unless someone finds a way to do line-in recording if that’s even possible on ps4 (using optical audio output should be possible, right?). I really don’t know.

Damn, if only I had the money for a PS4, the game, and the console wasn’t sold out in my country. Oh well.

37 GB in a PKG file. Which potentially means that a gamerip could happen. But I have no idea if the the rumor is true, or if that PKG file could be open and decompressed with the same tools as PS3 PKGs.

the discs contents are stored in a package file that’s encrypted. so for ps3 that would be a pkg file and 360 a custom archive.

Such a narrow release platform and lack of portability makes little sense; one would think that taking the opposite road would be more conducive to good returns on investment. It can’t cost that much to release on the likes of Bandcamp, now can it?

Now, the restrictions. You can only play the soundtrack from a PlayStation 4 system. You can play it on a PS Vita via remote play.
I don’t think that sounds promising. It seems owners of the soundtrack are only allowed to play it.

That’s not the full soundtrack, there is not the fight forest part from the second chapter and lost lot from the chapter VI
