And the award for the worst movie score of 2013 goes to … Drum roll … Hans Zimmer for MOS. In the past this was not so, his performance was in the upper middle.

At least Zimmer had went old school with the RUSH soundtrack.

Is that a touch of irony? Live and let live. Of course it is not great art, but solid craftsmanship.
Just read my previous comments on the topic Hans Zimmer (MOS, TDKR, ..), maybe it makes you less depressed.

HZ has been one lucky guy! Being blessed with talented composers at his disposal, good connections and huge marketing ploys and machines that would make a generic and recycled score sound like a masterpiece that all die hard fans follows and consumes without questions or hesitation. Heard of the term of "cult following"? That’s it.

I’ll be honest, I never saw this movie…not sure how that even happened! LoL But I am definitely excited to hear this score! I am definitely a fan of Zimmer’s scores.

And guess what?? I love Goldsmith, Williams, Morricone, Hermann, Jarre, Silvestri, Horner, Shore, Steiner, Bernstein and Elfman, too. GASPS!!! Yep, it is possible.

I don’t think MOS was the worst movie score of 2013. But I think the score could have been much better if there were more time spent realizing an orchestral part for the Superman character.

Well, to each his own taste, i guess you were embarrassed by Zimmer’s work, but clearly i wasn’t, since i’ve listened to it countless times and never got bored of it. A "boring superfluous commodity" is in my opinion much worse than a divisive score like MoS, which clearly stood out of the movie and got stuck in the ears.

If you approach some of the people that downloaded it (check the first page for example) you might get lucky. It’s faster than just adding comments to the pile.
I think there’s a good chance Petros might temporarily reupload if you ask him. What I usually do is quote everone on the first page (in a spoiler tag) and ask if anyone is willing to reupload.
