Let’s see how good is this soundtrack!
"The Crimson Dragon OST was originally composed and produced by Saori Kobayashi. Her music was used as-is in Crimson Dragon: Side Story.
When Microsoft decided to make Crimson Dragon a launch title for Xbone, they gave the game back to Grounding to make changes. Microsoft also commissioned an American music producer to remix the original soundtrack and add some new tracks (while removing others). The music in the Xbone version of the game is not the real Crimson Dragon soundtrack, in other words. However, most of it is based on the originals.
So, yes, Hestrine is in the Xbone version, but it sounds different (and bad). All of Kobayashi’s music was "Westernized", so now it sounds more like Hollywood.
It’s truly one of the most disgusting and offensive things that Microsoft has ever pulled. You don’t take brilliant art and change it because you think it’s too Japanese for North American taste."
I don’t know though, all the more reason to support the Playstation 4 anyway. They treat non-Western music/games the way that they’re meant to. Plus it’s a true gaming machine. Whereas the Xone is just a gimmicky entertainment hub.

What a stupid thing to say. Just because it’s been "westernised for the American’s tastes", doesn’t mean Microsoft are terrible for doing so. Square Enix did the same thing with various aspects of Star Ocean 4, and a lot of JP devs don’t even *release* their games outside of Japan because "they don’t think it’s suitable for the market" for whatever reason.
Like a previous poster said, Microsoft *did* release the original composed soundtrack with Crimson Dragon: Side Story, which uses roughly the same worlds/areas as Crimson Dragon, but with the soundtrack in its original form, so you get the best of both worlds. Otherwise, to people like myself who have played both, it would have seemed very "half arsed". I happen to like tracks from both games, where whilst I don’t really enjoy the original version, I prefer the remixed one and visa versa.
Crimson Dragon is a fantastic game with a decent soundtrack, and the Xbox One is a fantastic gaming system with entertainment features, with Microsoft doing a lot more good for the industry than Sony has done since 1995.
Thx for upload 😉

If anyone has a link to the Side Story soundtrack as well, even better. I’d like to hear the differences.
As for Side Story, I don’t believe we ever got an official soundtrack release for it. There’s a gamerip at Panzer Dragoon Legacy (https://www.panzerdragoonlegacy.com/categories/crimson-dragon-side-story-game-rip). The quality isn’t the best, but it’s all we have for now. 🙁
