whose notes I tried hard to copy in my youth.

I have downloaded the album and read the names
of the rest musicians: They are all excellent!

It is great to read all the comments and see how many other people loved this in their childhood – it was one of my favorites growing up (and since I saw it again a couple of years ago I can say that it still holds up pretty good).

Doesn’t sound like it comes from the master tapes. Somewhat a half-cleaned vinyl rip. It sounds muddled and old, it just doesn’t have the vinyl scratch sound. Almost..

I’d buy a FLAC remaster in a heartbeat. Right now, the russian/australian bootleg is the best sounding version.
