SYNOPSIS 2019. Neo-Tokyo is a city built on the ruins of the ancient Japanese capital destroyed in World War III. Japan is a country on the brink of collapse suffered ongoing political crisis. Secretly, a team of scientists has ordered the army resumed an experiment to find individuals who can control the ultimate weapon: a force called "absolute power". But the people of Neo-Tokyo have other things to worry about. One is Kaneda, a young gang leader of a biker gang. During a fight, his best friend, Tetsuo, suffers a freak accident and ends admitted to a military facility. Alli scientists will discover who is the possessor of absolute power. But Tetsuo, who resigned to become a guinea pig, soon will become the greatest threat the world has ever known.
