Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend is a 1985 American adventure fantasy film directed by Bill L. Norton and starring William Katt, Sean Young, Patrick McGoohan, and Julian Fellowes. The story is based on rumors about dinosaur-like creatures (called Mokele-mbembe) purported to exist in Africa.

I remember seeing this movie once as a kid. Looking back, I just realized that the roars of the Apatosaurus in this movie are the same roar as the Predator. They are the exact same roar, and this movie was made before Predator. Still, it’s a great Goldsmith score… when we don’t have to hear the annoying synth theme for the titular Baby, but the rescue music near the end is a pure adrenaline rush, as only Goldsmith could deliver!
