Sample : 31. Nuke Attack and Reunions (http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/19319362/file.html)
Thank you very much.
the guy i got it from is a genius on how he did this…. However, there was a flaw with at least 2 tracks in my opinion… they were either noise reduced or had the ending completely deconstructed.
Other than that, THIS FILM EDITION OF THE SCORE IS AMAZING!
Thanks for any help.
I listened to parts out of sheer curiosity but it’s never something I’d listen to regularly for enjoyment. The upload is appreciated.
read where it says "COMPLETE SCORE EDIT"
read where it says "COMPLETE SCORE EDIT"
I don’t see the need for name calling. The thread title clearly states "Isolated Score" . That’s what is confusing.
He asked "what isolated score ? " which was my question. "Isolated score" usually refers to the audio track on a DVD or Bluray featuring the score isolated from the other film audio elements. A track still cued to the film images but stand alone as a musical score only audio option.
Anything else would just be either an edited version of LaLa’s already perfectly produced set or an edit of the existing boots. Not an "isolated score".
And in "nit whit", Whit is actually spelled "wit" 😀

I wouldn’t say "usually", but rather "always", since it has become an industry wide article of jargon.
Wonder who the "nit whit" is… this is not an isolated score. It’s a rip of either the DVD or the BluRay where someone tried to remove the speech and sfx. Has nothing to do with an isolated score which is the music as a separate audio track on the DVD/BluRay. This film doesn’t have that…
I had to google to double check the status of this.
I read on the FSM boards that it was to be considered to have an iso score, but ultimately did not.
EDIT1: But I did believe that no (NTSC/Region 1/Region A) version has existed previously.
Neat work, from the sounds of it.
"Complete edit" takes precedence over "isolated score" where "isolated score" should be ignored.
"isolated score" is actual jargon (that is, the dvd/bd/music industry has a set definition for it, regardless of the number of people who "think" or "like" the way they use the word "isolated", be it objective or subjective, and is absolute in it’s definition).
In high school, we learned in "C.A.P.P" (Career and Personal Planning) classes (maybe exclusive to the province of B.C., Canada?) that "jargon" refers to:
Jargon – Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/jargon)
2: the technical terminology or characteristic idiom of a special activity or group
We completely ignored the first few entries (1: and subsections of 1).
It was the 90’s. :noonecares:
"Isolated score" seems to be deemed worthy of jargon for a specific group and should not be muddied up with concepts unorthodox to the industry-wide established understanding of "isolated scores".
There’s a thread in the Help forum to request to have the thread title changed for sanity’s sake (and largely clarification that leads to a sane level of sanity from the berating of us jargonheads…I like that word: Jargonhead).

the film version is in the final mix of the first disc of my ultimate edition. You’d have to pm me for a link for the 4 disc collection.
since everyone is so supportive of me, be on the look out for my next Jayasaurus edition collection. It contains at least 4cds, including the isolated score, the recording sessions, the original soundtrack with bonus tracks, and additional stuff
The only thing that will be missing will be the stem seperations that I will be adding later on sometime in 2 – 3 months or so… Depends on how long it is.
Just be prepared for my next collectors edition….. And yes, this is a huge merry Xmas gift for all of you fans of this score out there.

I just wish you would stop using the term "isolated score" because it is NOT that 🙂 Can’t really understand why you keep doing it after so many of us have explained this for you… ? Anyway, no matter what you call it (as long as it isn’t "isolated score"), nice work 🙂
+1
The fact others have noted slight and very little sfx doesn’t mean it qualifies.
After a while, I’ve decided to simply make a second version of the complete score edit in film version…. Have about half the tracks done. 🙂
