This 1993 TV adaptation of the famous Swiss novel re-told the story of the adorable little orphan growing up in the Alps in the care of her harsh grandfather. The movie was nominated for several TV awards including one for Lee Holdridge’s heart-warming score, which is charming, pastoral, and sometimes cute ("Kittens On The Pillow"). Released only as a promo on the Prometheus label.
