THANK YOU for this! I ordered mine, but I wanted to listen like now. 🙂
Sorry I didn’t see the notice in the main post.
But frankly, I don’t understand those guys who can upload lossless version but don’t want for some misleading moral reasons.
Because you forgot one important thing: From the law’s side, share lossy or lossless audio without rights, there is no difference, this is a theft so that’s illegal.
Personally, when I’ve the retail CD, I always share here the lossless version (sold out or not, mainly in anime music section) because with the best quality I’m sure everyone will be satisfied. Quality lovers keep the lossless version and the others can easily convert lossless to their favorite lossy format, there a lot of fast and easy softwares on Mac and Windows to do that.

Look, I respect your decision to share lossless files whenever you buy a CD. It is my decision not to upload lossless files for now – my reasons are my own – I would appreciate the same respect. I’m not complaining if others purchase this or any other release that I post and upload the lossless format. At least others seem to be appreciative of my efforts (thanks to you all that have shown it).
Regardless, I’m not going to get into a debate with you or anyone else pertaining to my not posting lossless versions for certain shares. My only suggestion is to purchase the title in question or wait for someone else to post the lossless version.
That’s all I’m going to comment on this subject.
Thanks. I have got these on order as we speak. Looking forward to listening.

I agree that as far as the law cares, it’s all theft anyways (which it isn’t – it’s copyright infringement, which is totally different from theft, but they like to use the word theft because it makes us all sound evil).
But I do understand why the poster chooses to withhold the flac until it sells out. Many of us in here want the highest quality music available – and yet others don’t care as long as they can listen to it. By posting the lossy files, those who just aren’t happy unless it’s lossless may choose to make the purchase, just to have the highest quality, even though a lower quality is available for free. The poster may feel that if he posts the lossless version, people may settle for that and not bother buying it. It’s sharing while hoping that some will still buy the real soundtrack and support the company, and by providing lossy, it gives people an incentive to buy the real thing. I don’t know that I believe in that completely – I think the people that can afford it and want the physical disc and nice booklet and packaging will buy it, whether it’s available in lossless on a forum like this or not. But everybody has their own reasons for doing what they do.
Myself, I can only afford a few soundtracks a year, if that. I tend to by more blu-rays than soundtracks, just because money is very, very tight, and I can’t buy everything I want. So I download when I see something that I know I won’t/can’t buy. For this 3-disc release of Buck Rogers, I asked for it for Christmas and it’s already sitting in a corner waiting to get wrapped up to put under the tree in December. So for now I’ll be grabbing these links just so I can hear some of the tracks while I wait for Christmas to come.
Thank you once again, my friend.
Much Thanks
I had no idea this even existed. I must order it from the vendor.
Thanks for the links in the meantime!
Thank you my friend!!!!
Especially for the FLAC-re-up from the movie!
"Bidebidebidebit! Taxi!" 😀
when I saw there were some les baxer tracks I knew it was must have
cheers
I agree that we must incent folks to buy these, so that we can have future releases. It has to be profitable for the publishers, or show’s over.
I am hopeful we might one day get Six Million Dollar Man, also from Universal. This seems like a landmark release to me. Let’s get it sold out!
I also tried to recreate the original series TT, and the episode titles are in the same font (or as close as I could find) to the title cards in the episodes themselves.

Kind of ballsy to be picky about someone doing you a favor for free. Either "jump through hoops" or buy it.

1979-1981 correct?
1979-1981 correct?
Yup – the years are correct. Apparently, there is talk of possibly doing a volume two of Season One…
Look at you, spoiling us!! 🙂
I’m so ridiculously geeked out that you ordered volume 2.

anyone can provide the scans for season two?

(( Did I miss the link for the Season 2 Booklet scans? ))
I could not remember the music, but who could enjoy that which was played while their favorite TV character was systematically dismantled?
Twiki lost his nuts (as did the Narrator over the theme), Wilma turned in her signature slinky bodysuits (for some kind of un-sexy sailors outfit…how can you possibly design an un-sexy ladies sailor outfit?), Buck lost his uniform, and generally looked kind of sloppy, Wilfred Hyde-White was some sort of a reject from a rest home, Creighton the robot just shat upon our beloved characters.
So, to be fair, I downloaded a bit of this, and I have to say, it is some of the worst soundtrack material I’ve ever heard! It’s very best moments come up to the level of say, "Peter and the Wolf". Tracks entitled "So and so Attacks" or "xxx Havoc!" are just quiet snoozers, like everything else presented ad nauseum. Even the suspenseful background material is presented. Suspense music is not enjoyable music by any measure! The "Suspension" theme is completely ignored. This music could go with ANY TV series. It is the sort of generic garbage that would accompany some sort of G rated children’s show.
Can one of you thankful fans cite even 1 track and WHY you like it?

You suck man … you obviously dont appreciate music and rather appreciate some of the DIRGE which backs a lot of TV programmes today. Plus you have 11 posts on this forum which seems to me you only post when you want to talk crap . Everyones titled to an opinion but you seem to have no appreciatioon of classic tv music at all .
thanks for those albums !
I’m a huge fan of Buck …
I was a kid when Buck came out, went to the theater to see the movie. Season 2 was a disaster. They totally ruined the concept.
Even Buck himself will tell you about it on YouTube:

Thanks!
Thanks again, Varcel, and Kingofpain26 for the links.
Awesome! Thanks for this. Can anyone re-up the booklets that go with these? I couldn’t find them at the link kingofpain26 posted.
Now, crossing my fingers that someone will reup the S1 3-disk set!
