Note: I split some tracks up from the original Intrada album and placed them in their proper chronological order. There is no new material here.
The first 2/3 of the track "Jennifer’s Second Opinion" was unused in the film so as to where it goes in the programming, it made sense to place it right after "Doctor Heal Thy Self" as it features the music when Evan pops up behind Jennifer and injects her with the needle after strangling her doctor with a blood pressure cuff and carries her back off to his mansion. It’s what I call the first big rendition of the theme which carries us from act 2 to act 3. The score used in the doctor strangulation scene is still missing (you can tell because the score used in the scene is pure synth) so either that is an alternate or something else. The end segment is in the film, however.
The stereo sound mix on this is very expansive and features some magnificent (albeit nausea-inducing) stereo separation. Brian May seems to be have been a master of stereo mixing. R.I.P.
Many years ago, I created an extended suite from the album simply because I loved this score so much which I have since went in and re-mixed. I split it into 2 suites for your listening pleasure. They’re not your average suites but they’re not Blood Wings Sinfonia-style projects either. I tried to stay respectful to the source while still taking some liberties. I hope you enjoy!
