I shared the OST (Thread 139429) quite recently and would love to get this (either in the open or discretely). I know this one is rare, but I’m surprised it hasn’t warranted a mention here at the shrine.
Yes it is
”It’s going around”
He isn’t asking about that, i am sure!
Not every bootleg with slates is called a sessions, that’s a fact"stupidity is actually painful"
I’m fully aware of the differences Dak. If you say only the complete score is circulating then I believe you, but every user who has this on pianofiles has listed it as ‘sessions’ so you can understand my confusion.
Right you are. Hell, Steve Jablonsky’s Friday the 13th score has slates but that does not make it the complete score or sessions. Jerry Goldsmith’s LA Confidential sessions are out, yet there are no slates. I never said that slates = complete / sessions. I’m just making a statement that people are branding things that are nearly complete as "sessions" and it’s wrong.
The recording sessions as we say should be(the complete film score, alternates, unused/outtakes, demos..etc) like the Pirates of the Caribbeans triloay & Batman Begins they were a sessions(and still missing cues), Inception and the Last Samurai were complete scores(missing alts & many film version cues) and all of them have slates, so when we would solve that at least we say "music from the recording sessions" thus means not the complete sessions.
With what you’re saying, I may as well call my Titanic OST (or any OST I own, for that matter) "Music from the Recording Sessions", because technically the cues are from the sessions, right? ANYTHING can be "Music from the Recording Sessions"
Actually, i don’t know are you’re kidding or what? the OST cues(we’re listening now)technically were Re-mastered and re-edited… not "Music from the Recording Sessions" even we hardly if we find most of film versions, and the bootlegs you’re seeing here… i can call them as the standard or final recording sessions came straight from the studios, mp3 or flac but they are still for me not a higher up as the OST.
