Update 6-1-14: Fixed an error in both the FLAC and MP3 sets. Track 17, known as Wave 131, was actually a truncated copy of track 12, Dreamer. Reripped 17, and it’s correct now. The archives have been updated, and if you don’t want to redownload the whole thing there’s a fix file for the one track. Sorry about that, I was probably drunk ;-).

Awesome. The rca jack mod or whatever definitely makes a difference. If you were planning on re-ripping any others, my vote, if it meant anything, would go to Wolfchild, Elemental Master, Steel Empire, Mighty Max, Thunder Force IV, and Batman, in that order. 😉

Your uploads have basically been my introduction to Genesis music (well, I did have a Genesis and some games back in the day, but it was very overshadowed by the Nintendo consoles). Streets of Rage 2 as an album really is in a league of it’s own. Some of that stuff, it’s crazy to think it’s coming from a ’88 console and ’92 cart. It’s weird that they went from THAT, to the "meh" that is SoR3. I wish there was more like it, because besides it and about 70 more tracks spread across 16 other games, I’m not a huge fan of how people usually used the Genesis sound. 😛 But I’m still keeping every lossless thing you upload in it’s entirety, as to share it with people who DO like it. And I love the idea of accurate preservation of classic VGM, instead of emulated BS.
