I am trying to rip the music from Star Ixiom on Playstation, and every program I use to get the .str files comes up with an error. XAPlay won’t play them and PSXMc won’t either. Is the .str data encoded in such a way that these programs won’t reach it?

Tried that on both Winamp and foobar2000 and it crashed foobar and wouldn’t play at all in Winamp. The files seem to be in some form of .str that can’t be ripped.

EDIT: PSMplay works with them. Problem solved.
