A game soundtrack that’s missing from my collection is "Discworld II: Missing Presumed…?" AKA "Discworld II: Mortality Bytes!", originally released on Playstation 1

After some searching around I’ve found a Discworld II soundtrack pack at this website – http://psf.joshw.info/d/ – but after unpacking the 7zip, I noticed all the files are of the file type "GENH" – which I’m completely unfamiliar with and can’t figure out how to play or convert.

I usually grab a winamp plugin to play any Playstation music files I need, but in this case I can’t seem to find a plugin that works.

Can anyone recommend a plugin that will allow me to play GENH files? Or can anyone convert the files to 320kpbs MP3 for me?

vgmstream can decode GENH. GENH stands for General Header, and I believe it’s a custom format (more like a wrapper) by the same guys who made vgmstream.

i can save you the hassle of downloading all the required stuff and convert it to 320 mp3, if you want.

Thanks for the reply. Yeh I already tried installing the vgmstream plugin, plus libvorbis.dll and libmpg123-0.dll as mentioned in the vgmstream readme, but unfortunetely these GENH files still won’t play for me.

EDIT: nevermind, I’ve figured it out. The problem was I copied the libvorbis.dll and libmpg123-0.dll files to the winamp plugin directory, whereas I should have copied them to the main winamp directory (duh). Thanks so much for the help though dissident93.
