I’m honestly surprised there isn’t an option for purchase in MP3/FLAC available right off the bat. Surely the relevant persons are aware that more purchase options translate into more potential customers and in turn more money received… and it’s not like there’s any substantial additional cost involved, now is there?

On a more general note, I for one bemoan the demise of the sound test that once upon a time could be found in games’ option menus. Rolling Thunder 2, for instance, had an amusing one whose conceit was a band performance (with the band, and audience, being SD versions of the game’s mooks).
